“Posting to the Past”
An exhibition of embroidered postcards created by the people of Merseyside, inspired by the silk postcards sent from the front during the First World War.
The launch party was held in Liverpool Town Hall in the presence of Liverpool Lord Mayor Erica Kemp and the Lady Mayoress on Monday 3rd November 2014. Everyone who contributed embroidered postcards were invited, and also friends and family .
The exhibition of embroidered postcards will be in Liverpool Central Library “Discover Library”, William Brown St, Liverpool L3 8EW from Saturday 8th November 2014 – Friday 5th December 2014
